How we look after your data
Your certificates, records and guest information matter. Here's how HostSorted keeps them safe, in plain English.
Stored in the UK
The app and your documents are hosted on Amazon Web Services in London, with Cloudflare protecting the website.
Encrypted connections
Every page and file is served over HTTPS. Sign-in cookies are secure and can't be read by scripts, and every form is protected against cross-site request forgery.
Passwords never stored
Passwords are stored as strong one-way hashes, so nobody, including us, can read them. Repeated failed sign-ins are slowed down.
Only the right people
Certificates are private to your account. Team roles control who can see and change what, and property owners only ever see their own properties.
Guest pages you control
House guides use long, unguessable links that are hidden from search engines. Create a new link or switch a guide off at any time.
Payments by Stripe
Card details go straight to Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Backed up every night
The database is backed up every night, so your records can be restored if anything goes wrong.
Yours to take or delete
Export all your records as a spreadsheet at any time. Delete your account and everything in it from your account page.
