Why we built it

On shoot after shoot, hosts ask the same question: "what do I actually need to be legal?" The honest answer is that it depends on the property. A cottage with a wood burner and a hot tub needs different checks from a city flat with a combi boiler, and the rules keep changing, with the national short-term let register expected by March 2027.

The information is out there, spread across GOV.UK, the Health and Safety Executive, fire services and councils. What hosts didn't have was one place that works out what applies to their property, keeps the certificates, and reminds them before anything runs out. So we built it.
