Categories that match your tax return
Expenses use the same headings as the property pages of a Self Assessment return: rates and insurance, repairs, finance costs, professional fees, services including cleaning, and more. From April 2025 furnished holiday lets are taxed like other property income, so tidy records matter.

Download a CSV for any tax year and property. Repairs logged in Maintenance are added automatically when you mark them done with a cost.
